Just sitting a home oneday tired of hearing all the Santa Claus bashing and thought that we should be stating clearly what we believe is the reason for Christmas.

I’ve never seen a chimney here in T&T
But still I hear of Santa Claus
I’ve never seen a snowflake falling from the sky in December
So many distractions and so many choices to believe in
But this fact still remains

Immanuel God with us
It’s because of Love, there’s Christmas
There’s you and me, for by God’s grace and mercy

He did not count it robbery to be
Made in human likeness
To feel what we feel
And that is why it’s because of Love
There’s Christmas.

Now the cross will always be, a sign of liberty
But no there’s reindeer and sleigh
With all your shopping spree, your friends and family
Are you really happy?

Didn’t you hear it all the angels sang
Glory to God in the highest
And peace on earth to men.
